Hi everyone! Good news today: **I am giving a talk at devcom 2025**, sharing lessons from 5+ years of developing and selling Text Animator for Unity as an indie studio.

It'll be about the many lesson I have learned while developing **Text Animator for Unity**, which is allowing us to self-fund our small studio since more than 5 years and also helped us learn *so many things* that I would have never expected.

I believe it can be interesting especially during these times with very few investments happening all around, so I hope it can help some of you as it did for me and my team!

The session will be a brief **overview of the assets market** (Unity, Godot and Unreal), the parallels of **creating tools "for yourself" compared to "for everyone"**, some practical tips on how to develop them and organize their updates, releases, the different business models and much more while also having a game in production (or trying to).

**In case you won't be able to attend devcom**, I'll most likely be able to upload the full talk after a month or so, and **I'll make a post on this blog** anyways! It will be available for Members only, so make sure to create an account \[it's free ❤️\]

**Do you have some questions that you'd like answered?** Let me know beforehand, so that I can try to include them in the presentation directly! I'm super excited to give this talk. It's my second devcom, but it's the first where I give a talk so I'm passing the next few weeks finalizing it (I already had a 1 hour long one, that I'm making shorter in order to fit my slot). **I'll let you know how it goes - but if you happen to be there *please* let me know during that day! I'd love to say hi** 🥹.

See you soon with new posts and wishing you a lovely day!
