Text Animator is coming to Godot, Unity and Unreal.. with a fresh new look!
Text Animator is coming… everywhere! And we needed a new logo to celebrate.

Okay okay… with “everywhere” we actually mean Godot and Unreal, and a new huge update for the Unity version - after more than 5 years since its first release, thousands of developers in between and being able to help wonderful developers and games of any genre.

What’s coming
Soon? A lot of updates and releases. Expect the Godot version first, the Unity update a bit later, and the Unreal version after. We will keep you updated for each release.
The new Text Animator for Unity, version 3.X, working with UI toolkit
For now though, we’re consolidating the Logo’s look (which I created very roughly in 2020, with no previous experience) thanks to professional help by the wonderful Cristiano Spada (X profile here, who’s helping us a lot in many things like the company logo that you see everywhere on this website).
Shipping on multiple engines
What does it mean shipping on multiple engines? Well…. we’ll see! We went crazy trying to port the “main” logic to multiple engines, which all work in different ways, so we’re excited to see how it will go and we’re looking forward to update the heck out of it for the coming years, adding new features and much more.

We want developers to have the same great experience on all engines, with as many features as possible compared to Text Animator for Unity, which is why we felt the need to refresh the tool logo and make it more coherent / flexible given the future releases.

It’s a similar feel to remind us that we’re keeping the tool powerful and flexible as before, but … more professional! Hope you like it! (I am personally in love with the documentation look 🥹)
Wrapping up
We would have never expected such a positive feedback (actually, I would have never expected it in the first place while developing it) and we have a lot of plans for the future as well.
We’re really grateful for the wonderful developers and games that chose it over the past years (e.g. Cult of the Lamb, Dredge, Slime Rancher 2 and many many more), and we’re looking forward to sharing more (it’s a lot of pressure, not gonna lie, but we’re doing our best!).
Thanks a lot for reading through here and for your support as always - hear you very soon with first release: Text Animator for Godot!
